We are The House of X Book Club
Back in the day, we got together and read and talked about comic books, mainly the X-Men. Decades later, and not a lot has changed. We started at the very beginning, and are working our way through the X-Men from number one!
Meet the four Members of The Quiet Council, and the one member of The Whisper Consortium!
Rob is our fearless host, keeping the rest of us mostly on track, try as hard as we might to derail the topic at hand. His vast knowledge of comics always teaches us something new.
Shane is our extraordinary editor and resident class clown (in the best possible way). The founding, and only, member of The Whisper Consortium! We never really know what he’s going to say, but his insight and quips always bring joy to the rest of us.
Rowan is the true powerhouse of The Quiet Council. The voice of reason within our group, she’s not afraid to call a spade a spade and often brings up points the rest of the boys have missed.
Roger isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and play “Devils Advocate” for our group, but also brings a sense of humor and pop culture references that the rest of us cant match.
Drew is the newest member of the group and a total novice when it comes to Marvel and The X-Men franchise. His fresh eyes and surprise at what we are reading delight the group in ways that an experienced X-Men fan couldn’t.
